Speech Ted ("Speech Ted," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information of children, parents, caregivers, and other users of our application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Speech Ted mobile application (the "App"). By using Speech Ted, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. About Speech Ted

Speech Ted is an educational and developmental practice-support app designed to help children practice speech, language, communication, learning, social, motor, and everyday skills through interactive activities. The App is designed to support practice and learning and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

2. Information We May Collect

Information Provided by Parents or Caregivers If the App allows a parent or caregiver to create or manage a child profile, we may collect information such as:  Child's first name or nickname  Child's age or date of birth  Gender, if voluntarily provided  Parent or caregiver name  Parent or caregiver email address  Account login information  Practice preferences and settings  Information entered by a parent or caregiver to support the child's use of the App We recommend that parents and caregivers provide only the information necessary to use the App. Child-Generated Information Depending on the features used, children may interact with activities that involve:  Speech or voice recordings  Responses to activities  Practice results and progress  Answers to questions  Activity completion information  Learning or practice preferences Confirm whether Speech Ted actually stores voice recordings. If recordings are processed only temporarily and not stored, revise this section accordingly.

Device and Usage Information We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App, such as:  Device type and operating system  App version  Language and general device settings  Crash reports and diagnostic information  App performance information  Information about how features are used List the analytics/crash-reporting services actually used by your App, if applicable.

We may use information to:  Provide and operate Speech Ted  Create and manage user or child profiles  Provide personalized practice activities  Save practice progress and activity results  Support speech, language, communication, and learning activities  Improve the App and its features  Monitor and improve App performance  Identify and resolve technical problems  Maintain security and prevent misuse  Respond to support requests  Comply with applicable legal obligations We do not use children's information for purposes unrelated to providing, supporting, or improving the App unless permitted by applicable law or with appropriate consent.

4. Children's Privacy

Speech Ted is designed for use by children with support from parents, caregivers, and/or other responsible adults. Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent before collecting personal information from children, we will follow the applicable requirements. Parents and caregivers should supervise children's use of the App and should avoid entering unnecessary personal information. We do not knowingly require children to provide more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the App's activities. Confirm the intended age range and whether the App is directed to children under 13 in the United States. This section should be reviewed against COPPA and applicable children's privacy laws in the countries where the App is offered.

5. Voice Recordings

Some Speech Ted activities may allow a child to record their voice for speech and communication practice. Where voice recording features are available:  The recording is used to provide the relevant practice functionality.  State whether recordings are stored, for how long, and where they are stored.  State whether recordings are processed on the device or transmitted to your servers.  State whether recordings are shared with any third-party service. We do not use children's voice recordings for advertising.

6. Information Sharing

We may share information only when reasonably necessary to operate the App or as permitted by applicable law. Service Providers We may use trusted third-party service providers for services such as cloud hosting and storage, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and App infrastructure and security. These providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to use it only for the services they provide to us. Legal Requirements We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, court order, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Speech Ted, our users, or others. Business Transfers If Speech Ted or substantially all of its assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy laws. We do not sell children's personal information.

Select the statement that accurately describes your App. Option A — No Advertising: Speech Ted does not display third-party advertisements and does not use children's personal information for targeted advertising. Option B — Advertising Is Used: Speech Ted may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers. Because the App may be used by children, advertising practices will be configured and managed in accordance with applicable children's privacy laws and platform requirements.

8. Analytics and Tracking

We may use analytics and diagnostic technologies to understand App performance and usage. These technologies may help us understand which features are used, how the App performs, technical errors and crashes, and general usage patterns. Insert the names of all analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs actually included in the App. We will not use tracking technologies in a manner that violates applicable children's privacy requirements.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and its services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, resolve disputes, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our agreements. The specific retention period may depend on the type of information and how it is used. Insert your actual retention periods, particularly for child profiles, progress data, and voice recordings.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Parents' and Caregivers' Rights

Depending on applicable law, parents and caregivers may have rights regarding personal information collected from their child. These rights may include the ability to:  Request access to information collected about their child  Request correction of inaccurate information  Request deletion of their child's information  Withdraw consent where applicable  Request information about how their child's data is used or shared To make a request, please contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section below. We may need to take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of the person making a request before providing or deleting information.

12. Account and Data Deletion

If Speech Ted provides account or profile deletion functionality, parents or authorized users may request deletion of applicable account and child-profile information. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or de-identify information as required by applicable law, subject to information that we are legally required or permitted to retain. Depending on where you and our service providers are located, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which you live. Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Speech Ted is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control.
